Animals Galore was formed in 1967 when we trained and supplied the animals and birds for the original film production of Oliver. Over the last forty years we have established a unique track record in films, television, advertising, publishing and theatre.
We have worked with many of the world's leading directors, film, television and production companies, as well as for leading magazines, publishers and advertising agencies. Our animals can be seen in many major movies, in magazines, on food packaging, on television - and in London's West End theatres.
We provide experienced advice on all aspects of animal training, suitability for the job and risk assessments. In particular, our main emphasis is always on the welfare and well-being of the animals.
We manage all projects from start to finish. We are fully insured, have a team of experienced animal handlers and close associations with approved vets.
This website enables you to view a wide range of animals. We are also able to e-mail reference pictures for producers, designers and art directors. In particular we are able to advise on historical accuracy for period productions or suitability for purpose. Please call to discuss your needs (01342 842400).
Our experience enables us to quickly source a wide range of animals. We can advise on passports and movement orders - which are needed for some types of animals. We can also carry out all types of training and preparation.
We are able to supply detailed risk assessments for how animals will behave, how they must be treated and how health and safety procedures must be applied.
We offer advice on the choice and suitability of animals for a production, historical accuracy, scheduling for film shoots and government regulations.
Veterinary attendance and checks are required for filming and theatre projects. We have close liaisons with experienced and specialist vets.
Cindy Sharville is the owner of Animals Galore. Cindy is qualified as an NVQ Assessor for Animals in the Media. Her staff and animal handlers are trained to varied NVQ levels.

ACTA provides professional excellence and the highest standards of welfare in the preparation, training and supervision of animals throughout the media and performing arts.
